LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated October 27, 2026
The short version (the full terms below are what count):
- You must be 18 or older. Dream3D isn't offered in the EU, the EEA, the UK or South Korea.
- You own the models you make and can use them commercially, as long as you follow the licenses of the AI models behind them and the law.
- No infringing other people's IP, no sexual content, no real weapons, nothing illegal.
- We may use your prompts, images and models to improve Dream3D. We only feature your work publicly if you agree first.
- It's a free beta: access is approved by hand, features change, and the service comes with no guarantees.
1. About these terms
Dream3D ("Dream3D", "we", "us") is a service at dream3d.ai and studio.dream3d.ai that turns text prompts and reference images into concept art and 3D models. These terms are an agreement between you and Dream3D. By signing in or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Dream3D.
Questions about these terms: dream3dsupport@gmail.com.
2. Who can use Dream3D
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Dream3D is not offered in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or South Korea. Don't use the service from those places. Some of the AI models we use are not licensed for use there.
- You can't use Dream3D if we've previously removed your access, or if the law where you live forbids it.
3. The beta
Dream3D is in a private beta. It's free for now. We approve accounts by hand, and we may decline or remove access at our discretion. Features, limits, quality settings and the AI models we use can change or stop at any time, and the service may be unavailable, slow or lose data. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before anything is charged, and paid plans will have their own terms.
4. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account: don't share it, and don't make extra accounts to get around limits or a removal.
5. Your content and what you make
Inputs
"Inputs" are the prompts, reference images and notes you give us. You keep whatever rights you have in them. You confirm that you have the rights to upload them and that using them with Dream3D doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.
Outputs
"Outputs" are the concept art and 3D models Dream3D generates for you. As between you and us, you own your outputs, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. Two caveats:
- The law on AI-generated works is unsettled. In the US, purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright, so others may be able to use similar material.
- AI systems can produce similar outputs for different people, and an output can resemble existing work. Owning your output doesn't give you rights in someone else's work. Check before you rely on an output.
The rights you give us
You give Dream3D a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process and display your inputs and outputs in order to run the service for you, to keep it safe and enforce these terms, and to develop and improve Dream3D. Improving it includes tuning our settings and presets and developing, training or evaluating models. This license continues after you delete content, only for copies already used for those purposes. A future paid plan may offer more privacy for your content; if so, its terms will say how.
Showcasing your work
We will only feature your outputs publicly (for example on our home page or social accounts) if you agree first for that model. You can ask us to stop featuring it at any time.
6. Commercial use
You may use your outputs for personal and commercial purposes, including in games, apps, renders, 3D prints and products you sell, as long as you follow these terms and:
- The licenses of the AI models behind the output. Dream3D builds models with third-party AI, and those licenses pass through to you. The Studio shows which engine made each model. Today these are:
- Hunyuan3D (Tencent Hunyuan 3D Community License): not licensed in the EU, the UK or South Korea, and its outputs may not be used to train or improve other AI models. Read the license at github.com/Tencent/Hunyuan3D-2.
- TRELLIS (Microsoft, MIT License): github.com/microsoft/TRELLIS.
- Concept art is made with Google's Gemini and Imagen models, under Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
- The law, including copyright, trademark, design and publicity rights. Commercial use of an output that copies a protected character, brand, logo or product isn't allowed, even if Dream3D made it.
7. Content rules
Don't use Dream3D to create, upload or share:
- Infringing material: copies of characters, brands, logos, trademarks, products or artwork you don't have the rights to, or images you don't have permission to use.
- IP fraud: passing off outputs as someone else's work or official merchandise, counterfeit goods, or false claims of ownership or licensing.
- Sexual content: nudity, pornography or sexualized content of any kind. Anything sexualizing minors is banned outright and will be reported.
- Real weapons: functional firearms, firearm parts or accessories, explosives, or designs meant to make or modify real weapons. Clearly fictional props for games and film are fine.
- Real people: the likeness of a real person without their consent, or anything defamatory or meant to deceive (such as impersonation).
- Harmful or illegal content: hate, harassment, threats, glorification of violence or extremism, or anything else that's illegal where you are.
And don't misuse the service: no getting around limits or access controls, scraping, overloading the system, reverse engineering it, using it to build a competing dataset or model, or reselling access.
We may review content, block prompts, remove outputs and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
8. IP complaints
If you believe something on Dream3D infringes your copyright or other rights, email dream3dsupport@gmail.com with:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you own and how it's being infringed;
- a link to, or description of, the material on Dream3D;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and that your notice is accurate.
We'll review it and remove the material where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will lose access.
9. Our service
Dream3D's software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Dream3D at any time, and ask us to delete your account and content by emailing dream3dsupport@gmail.com (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access at any time, including during or at the end of the beta. Download any models you want to keep. Sections 5 (the rights you give us), 6, 9 and 11–14 continue after your access ends.
11. No warranties
Dream3D is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy. AI outputs can be wrong, flawed, unexpected or similar to existing works. You're responsible for checking an output before you use it, and models shouldn't be relied on for anything safety-critical, such as load-bearing or functional 3D-printed parts.
12. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dream3D will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Your responsibility
If someone makes a claim against us because of your inputs, your use of outputs, or your breaking these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give notice in the Studio or by email. Continuing to use Dream3D after an update means you accept it.
